So I really have been working with Sassy lately and today I finally got to experience what I have wanted to do with her for oh so long. JUMP!!!! In my lesson with Dionna today we started off riding with draw reins (Thank you Sara & Janet!) and Sassy was behaving very good! We then went on to the jumping. First we trotted a course of X rails and Sassy seemed even a bit bored with that. But at least she wasn't rushing or anything!! :) Then I cantered the whole X rail course! I havent cantered a course since I was leasing JP! Then (to my suprise) Dionna jacked up the fences! We jumped a whole 2ft course with one 2'3 jump!! The course included a one stride (Sassy has never done before), an bending line, and rollback (Sassy also has never done before)! Sassy was unbelieveable and I was so proud of myself for keeping confident and helping Sassy through the entire course! Dionna even says she wants to take me to a show in a month and do some flat classes! She also gave me the okay to take Sassy to clemson this summer if I can! I can't wait! And some other news... We have been making some changes to the barn again! Today Whit and a worker made a new pasture for Buddy & Jody! It is behind all the others by the old shed. Then we have more room for boarders. They also cut all the grass! YAY! It was getting a bit tall. Also Sara and Badger have been doing good. I was able to see her lesson on Thursday and they were practicing jumpers. They looked great! Carly & Sydney have been good too. I have not been lucky enough to see them jump in lessons yet but I have seen them on the flat and they look good! Way to go guys! Denise is doing good too! She and JP are a good match and they look great over the fences! keep it up! I know everyone knows it but I just thought I would say that Brandy (One of the knew ladys) gave Maje away and bought Bodi (Nancy's old horse). They are going to get along great, I just know it! so yea... 35 more days of school! Can't wait for summer!!
