over already??

so i still can't believe that christmas is over already. it went by so fast! this christmas i recieved, a updated show outfit (i don't think the one from when i was 11 still fits! LOL), a new waffle pad, a wither relief pad for my girl sassy, a new sweat scraper (lost my old one) and a bunch of other little barn items. i also got socks! (you know i love my socks!!) about five pairs of knee highs to wear riding! i also got a hunter green saddle pad from sara and socks (YAY) and nail polish from janet! thanks guys!!! i also can't believe how warm this christmas was!! it was so warm today that sara and i decided to give badger and Sassy a bath. Sassy did well except for the roll in the stall shavings at the end. oh well, i still love her. i can't wait till our first show together!

Update

Just an update! all has been going well dow at J & B right now. Sara and Badger have been working on their dressage... extended trot, flying changes on strait streches of the ring, ect. Denise has been riding Jp and doing great!! jumping like a pro Denise! Gia has been working on bounces and other jumping things with Jp. Carly and Sydney are working on their weekly lessons and are improving greatly! almost ready to canter guys!! and me... well, Sassy and I (put my first payment for her down today!) have been working on just about everything! we have to get her head down cause i want to do hunters so i'm going to try a martingale on her soon. she is also becoming more confident in her jumping and is learning to do her flying lead changes so much more smooth and slow. I can't wait till she is completly mine and i can give her a haircut!!

yay! the pics are in! so these are few pictures from a lesson with jenn. Sassy is gettining better and better in her jumping careers. ahhhh... now if she could just get her head down. but anyways the pic of me in the air jumping her... lets focus on the horse here. i know my position SU-UCKS! but look how good sassy's form is! what happened was it was the first time we had jumped the tinsel and she hesitated before it, i dropped her, and i ended up ahead of her motion. it looks like i'm going to fall but i ddin't! and for those who have not heard i decided to buy Sassy! zee is just to big of a risk considering i don't really know his health history. so Sassy it is! i can't wait!!!!

foxhunting

So today we all loaded up and went foxhunting at middleton! the real thing too. i could have gone to it aswell with Sara and Gia but i really didn't fancy riding Sassy at a gallop around hounds, lot's of shouting, and whips! oh well, next time mabey! not that there were not problems. out at the barn at 7:00 in the morning and everything is loaded up and... Badger won't get on the trailer! we tried for 20 minuets! talk about annoying! so Sara ended up taking Jack which she was not really happy about but you know, things happen. All and all it was a fun and learning experience! i can't wait until the next one.

my girl

This is my girlie Sassy! or Sassifrass (show name). before i get my horse this is the horse i ride. we are working on our jumping right now. she is pretty unsure and uncordinated but we will work on it!

it was ment to be!!

Well Zee is back in my life!!!!!!! let me explain. when i first started riding at my old stable there was a horse named zee there. i used to ride him in lessons and i loved him!! i was one of the few people he wouldn't bite or kick out at. but sadly after he attacked some people because he was over-worked he was sold. i had always wondered what had happened to zee but i never knew. so me and zee bumped into each other again!!!!!!! we wnet over to my aunts friends houses so we could look at some of the horses she had for sale. Well my boy zee was there!!!!!!!!!! apparently the lady had bought zee and he was a wreck!! skin falling off and REALLY skinny. he looked a bit better but he is still skinny. so i tried him out. CLICK! just like i remembered him. we will most likely take zee on trial and i can't wait! i finally found my special boy.

what's new?

Well everything has been going pretty normal down at J & B right now. It's even sort of lonely this weekend! Sara is off to charlote for soccer and gia has shows with holly and skittles this weekend. Brittany doesn't come out often without gia and... ahhhhh oh well. Sassy and I have been doing great together. we have been jumping lines and Sassy is slowing down and acutally thinking about her jump! AND NOT LEANING ON ME LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN!!!!!!!!! imagine that!!!! If we keep improving like this everyone better watch out! we will be taking ALL your ribbons come show time!

Well good news and bad news. the bad news first. Georgia had to go back! when we got her vet cheched we found out she had navicular so we had to give her back. it sucks. i really liked her. i posted a pic of her just so ya know what she looked like.

Now for the good news! i am getting better and better about riding sassy! we might even buy her (have not decided yet) i will update on that later but for now all is well!!!!!

FINALLY!!!

Finally. woot woot! i bought a horse!!!!!! she's a 15.2hh REGISTERED paint quater horse. (even though she has barely any white on her.LOL) she is sweet sweet sweet! she need some ground manners though and she does rear occasoinally but i still like her! i'll post pics when i get some!
