Well, Sassy moving out to my dad's land is sooo close now!! There is not a specific date because my dads work schedule is messed up but some time in the next two weeks we are going to get out there and chop some trees!! My brother is going to get one of his friends to help so he can partly work off my brothers truck repair bill, and hoplefully we can "recruit" some more of his friends to help and my dad will give them 100 bucks apeice!! After we cut down the big trees my dad can borrow is friends backo and dig out all the stumps. Then all thats left is a fence and a lean-to! At first I didnt want Sassy out there till everything was done but now I'm thinking the bare minumum will do. Sassy will love it at my dads! A big pasture with grass, and excellent draining so it never floods, and she can go for a trail ride all the time b/c there are Sooooooooooooooo many trails around my dads house! I will probably go up to Lambs Ranch whenever Sassy moves and see if there are any people I can ride with, I have seen people before so I know there are some. I will love having a barn all to myself! I can make my own rules and do whatever I like cause finally I will be at a place that is MINE!! Cant wait!!

Today
So today was really good, so I just had to write about it. I went out to the barn early in the morning and I free jumped Sassy!! She was soooo good! I forgot my polo wraps at home so I only raised the bar to 2'3 but she cleared it amazingly!! She was really happy to do it too. I wasnt even holding the whip and she was galloping full speed around the ring and jumping the fence every time with barely any encouragement!! After we cooled out and put the jumps back I took sassy back to the barn and let her eat a bunch of yummy grass! hehe. But she loved it! Then I cleaned up all the poop in Sassy's pasture! I did it b/c of her eye problem and it will keep down on the flys. I did it about a week ago and I have noticed a big change in her eye! Thats about it. I will probably ride Sassy tomorrow then give her a break, then my lesson on tuesday!

Talking Smack
I just wanted to put up a little thing about talking bad about people to others. I hear all the time bad things about people and IIIIIII know they are are not all completely true. some are, true, but some arent. Although it probalby wont do any differece, I would just like to say, before you talk smack about somebody think to yourself... is it really worth it? is there a real reason? Am i saying this cause its neccesary or because I want to sigle someone out or make myself feel better? I understand that people make mistakes that concern ONE other person but that does not need to be spread around to everyone the know.It is childish and completly unneccesary. No one likes to have smack talked about them... dont do it to others unless it is completley neccesary which it usually is not.

**Updates**
So everything has been pretty normal down at the barn. Sassy is starting to gain her weight back slowly and now she is out with a horse named Bodie who eats just as slow as her! That way she can get all her food! Sassy's hooves also look pretty good with the new supplement I put her on and her eye is doing great too!! It is not running anymore and is not as red. But the vet says it will stay red all summer until the flys go away just to keep hydrating it... which I do after every ride with her!:) We have a lesson tomorrow and now that we have Sassy's distancs down really well we can start jackin up the fences! The highest I have ever jumped Sassy so far is 2'3 but I hope we can make it past that in a month or two!! Next is shows... We are really hoping to go to clemson this year but I am kinda worried about how Sassy will act. She has never been to a show before and I dont think we have much time to go to a schooling show first. I really dont care if I place or not I just want to go for the fun and the experience of it all!! If we go to Clemson we will probably just do flat classes and mabey X rails, I will have to talk to the fabulous Jenn in my lesson tomorrow. So yea... thats it for now... havin a great summer and I hope everyone else is too!!

some sad news
So unfourtuanly I have some sad news. I will not be attending the schooling show at Mullet Hall on the 20th. Jenn is not going to be in town and she would feel better if she was with me and Sassy's first show together. So I am going to to try to arrange another one later on. It is dissapointing but I will take Jenn's word and wait for her to be there. In other news... me and Sassy are still improving well! We have been working very hard on Sassy's distances. Sassy's biggest bad habbit is that she takes her fences long aaaaaallllllllll the time! And everytime she takes them long she switches her lead!! So I have been doing an excercise with her where I jump in a circle. Not a tight circle but just a circle of fences all the way around the ring. She is doing well if I remember how to ask her for things! Today we had a very good ride and I cant wait to show Jenn how we are doing on Monday in our lesson. Thats it for now.

Lessons
so I had my first lesson with Jenn today and it was great! We decided that I am going ot focus on hunters till about next year then move on to jumpers! Today Jenn just pretty much assesed how I asked Sassy to do things and how far we are jumping wise. I am suppose to have another lesson with her on Tuesday so I hope to learn even more. Also, the barn is suppose to get powerwashed this weekend so we they can hopefully attract more boreders. My dads friend is also suppose to come out to my dads land and see if he can use his backo to clear the land out for Sassy! It is going to be sooooooooo much fun when sassy is there and the barn is built and everything! I cant wait!!
